Windows 7 is coming to an end. What will happen next?

Yes, you heard it right! Windows 7 is coming to an end on January 14, 2020. There are still lots of users are still using Windows 7 instead of the upgraded version of Windows 10. However, if you are one of these users, you better start thinking of upgrading it now before it’s “end of life” date.

Why people still choosing to stay with Windows 7? Comfortability and familiarity is the main reason why people tend to keep their Windows 7 software. We have to admit, that we always like being comfortable when using our Windows Media Center. Windows 10 killed the Windows Media Center, and some people are having a hard time switching or downloading apps to replace their old media center.

With the new and improved Action Center, your PC can be as interactive as your smartphone. If you are receiving notifications, reminders, and messages such as emails, your PC can do it those functions using the Windows 10 OS. You will receive real-time notifications like system updates, Facebook notifications, and reminders like birthdays and weather warning.

6. Better browser functionality

Browsers are more effective and efficient using the new Windows 10. There has been an increase in speed and latency has been reduced. Browsers have improved with its compatibility with the Windows OS. Additional functions like, webpage mark up, reading mode, also has support for extensions.

7. Security features

The Secure Boot feature from Windows 8 is now on Windows 10 and Microsoft made it even more powerful and secure. Unlike Windows 8, the Secure Boot has now a code that cannot be bypassed. Also, there’s an additional security feature that has been added to Windows 10 called Microsoft Passport, Device Guard, and Windows Hello.

8. Malware and Ransomware protection

Windows 10 users experience satisfaction that their computer, files, and personal information are secured with the Windows Defender Security Center and Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection tools. These apps will give the user more protection and security from various threats, malicious programs, and allows you to control over apps that can be accessed and changed.

If you have a Windows 10 Education, Enterprise or Professional editions, then you have an access to Windows Autopilot. The program allows you to configure and manage your office computers easier, faster, more securely with the ability of convenience.
